Bass Player for Prince and appears in this concert movie Sign "O" The Times. Levi Seacer, Jr. is an American musician. He was an early associate of Sheila E. when he was tapped by Prince to form a new touring band after the demise of The Revolution in 1986. Seacer became the band's bassist, as well as a backing vocalist. Later, he began collaborating with Prince as a songwriter on several projects. Seacer was a founding member of Prince's The New Power Generation in 1991, switching from bass to the band's guitarist. He remained a member of the band until 1993, and also participated in the later version of Madhouse. After leaving the Prince camp in 1993, Seacer has worked as a producer and session musician on various projects, most notably the gospel music ensemble Sounds of Blackness.

DJ Dave Paul

For over 20 years, DJ Dave Paul has been an integral part of hip-hop and DJ culture. In the early 90s, he launched the now legendary publication, The Bomb Hip-Hop Magazine, and in 1995, Paul transformed the magazine into a record label. The company was named "one of the fifteen independent labels that matter," according to Rolling Stone, and the label's Return of the DJ series was ranked by Spin Magazine as #25 in their "The 90 Greatest Albums of the 90's" (Sept. 1999 issue), receiving a higher rating than Gold & Platinum albums by Lauryn Hill, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Green Day, and Fatboy Slim. Dave Paul has appeared on the front cover of Billboard magazine and is featured in the motion picture Scratch. Mr. Paul has DJ'ed throughout the US, toured Europe, released over 100 projects on his record label, and currently produces theme parties, including The Prince and Michael Experience.

Motion Potion

MoPo is a master craftsman and his building material is the world’s most precious commodity: TIME. Consider yourself fortunate If you get a chance catch a Motion Potion DJ set these days. An enormous amount of thought, planning, and scheming has to occur to make them happen. MoPo approaches his shows like a college professor, or a football coach, putting hours of preparation and thought into exactly who will be listening, and how exactly to reach into their souls. Every set is different, and each can unfold in hundreds of different ways, and this intense focus on preparation makes him so versatile, so intense, and so much damn fun. These are “DJ sets” in the classic sense, unfolding like poems with every song a word and every mix or drop a bit of punctuation. Once known as the “DJ for people who hate DJ’s” it would be more accurate to say that this is the DJ for those who love live music. http://www.motionpotion.com/

DJ Spooky Calavera

A purple scholar, Spooky has studied the Minneapolis sound and the music of Prince intensely. As part of the Purple Funk SF crew, he has been spinning purple funk parties since the early 90s.  He was also the voice for all UK adverts for the Prince Emancipation album in 1996-97. Spooky is a master of the decks and enigma who expresses himself through the art of mixing.  Spooky Calavera is a storyteller weaving out an intricate tale with every mix.  Raised on a diet of soul and funk music, Spooky Calavera has been a Prince fan since the age of six. His earliest memory in 1979 is hearing 'I want to be your lover' playing on the car radio.  His sisters asked his mum to turn it up loud and the car became a disco.  It was that day that he became a true funk soldier and he has been pumping out the pot purple funk ever since.
